Welcome to Bordeaux

Immerse yourself in luxury upon arrival at our carefully selected accommodations. For those arriving early, an optional local area tour offers a delightful introduction to local gastronomy and wine.

Day One

Entre Deux Mers Experience

Start in Bordeaux with a café au lait before heading to Entre-Deux-Mers, known for its wines and history. Enjoy a private tasting at the historic Château de Castelnau and a gourmet lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure or on a cultural tour of local villages. End the day at Château Siaurac with a wine tasting and dinner, guided by our Master of Wine.- Accommodation: Hôtel de Pavie.

Day Two

The Right Bank, Saint-Émilion

Explore the Right Bank’s famed vineyards with our Master of Wine. Experience private tastings at renowned estates, including Château l’Angélus, Cheval Blanc, and a unique visit to Château Petrus. Dive into winemaking history at an organic vineyard, then enjoy a gourmet picnic. Spend the afternoon freely in Saint-Émilion, with options to explore. The day concludes with a special evening tour of Saint-Émilion’s monastic origins, followed by dinner at your choice in the village.

Day Three

Vineyard Elegance and Gastronomic Diversity

After breakfast, venture to the winery Château Feely for an intimate look into the winemaking process. Journey through the Dordogne’s idyllic countryside to the medieval village of Issigeac, where lunch at ‘Le Bouchon Medieval’ awaits. The afternoon is yours to relax at our new abode, La Chartreuse du Bignac, or join our chef for a culinary experience before a dinner showcasing Dordogne’s finest cuisine.

Day Four

Bastides of Périgord & French Market

Begin with a leisurely morning or an optional cultural tour of Périgord’s bastides. Enjoy lunch in Lalinde, followed by a relaxed afternoon of wine tasting at selected local vineyards with panoramic views of the Dordogne River or make the most of the beautiful cycling and walks in the area. Your evening will be spent at Le Vieux Logis, with time to unwind before dinner at a local restaurant, immersing you in the regional flavors and ambiance.

Day Five

Rouffignac, Tremolat

Embark on a cultural journey to the Cave of Rouffignac for a private tour revealing prehistoric art. After a farmhouse lunch, enjoy leisure time or an optional afternoon activity. Celebrate the week’s memories with a farewell dinner at Le Vieux Logis, offering an elegant culmination of your French culinary and wine experience.

Farewell Day

Bon Voyage

After breakfast, we’ll provide a transfer to the Libourne train station, bidding you “Bon Voyage” with cherished memories and unparalleled experiences from your journey through France’s heartland of wine and gastronomy.
